Sierra Designs Tengu 3 Person Camping Tent

Forest spirits who often befriend and help travelers, the Tengu wander the high mountains of Japan. The Tengu 3 is our modern incarnation of the myth - two doors, one small vestibule, and one enormous 22-square-foot vestibule. We've all been soaked building camp in a downpour, but with the Tengu 3 you'll at least know your tent will stay dry - you can pitch the fly and poles, and the tent body hangs on the inside, so it's completely sheltered during pitching. We use RCT technology to increase interior space, a Quick Pitch Swivel Hub for fast set-up and bomber performance, and RCT Swift Clips to speed pitching. Sew Free windows give inhabitants a sneak-peek at the outside world, while the same great organizational features from the Tengu 2 make gear organization a pleasure: hang loops in the vestibules, and enough space to pitch a Portable Attic. The 22-square-foot vestibule is literally large enough a hiker can change clothes while fully covered!

Tent Guard with Ultra Fresh

We begin using Tent Guard with Ultra Fresh in 2004 (a Sierra Designs exclusive at the time!) and with great success. Applied as part of the PU coating to our rain flies, floors and footprints, Tent Guard extends the life of a tent by thwarting mold, mildew and fungus. Particularly on extended trips or in damp climates, Tent Guard protects a tent if it is packed or stored temporarily while wet — another bit of piece of mind for your customers.
