Fortunately our Tengu is only here to help, providing backcountry shelter with ample organization and gear storage. The Tengu pitches "dry", meaning you can build out the fly and poles with the tent body hanging inside, keeping it dry even during a downpour! Reverse Combi Technology balloons interior living space for the most relaxed backcountry experience possible. The Quick Pitch Swivel Hub speeds set-up while improving tent strength, too. RCT Swift Clips accommodate the variable-diameter DAC Press Fit poles, the secret to our spacious interior. Hang loops in the vestibule organize gear and you can hang a Portable Attic in the vestibule as well, making the Tengu a gearhead's dream. Mesh through the body increases ventilation and makes for a comfortable night's rest.

Tent Guard with Ultra Fresh

We begin using Tent Guard with Ultra Fresh in 2004 (a Sierra Designs exclusive at the time!) and with great success. Applied as part of the PU coating to our rain flies, floors and footprints, Tent Guard extends the life of a tent by thwarting mold, mildew and fungus. Particularly on extended trips or in damp climates, Tent Guard protects a tent if it is packed or stored temporarily while wet — another bit of piece of mind for your customers.
